Dr Champica Gamage

MBBS, DCH, FRACGP, ACC-D, ACC SCMS

Dr Champica is a female GP with a special interest in Skin Cancer Surgery, Dermatology, Childrens Health and General Medicine.

Dr Champica graduated from the University of Kelaniya – Sri Lanka and worked as a government doctor in Sri Lanka for 14 years, acquiring experience in various fields of medicine. In 2014 she joined the Campbelltown emergency department. She then began her GP career in 2016 serving in Coffs Harbour, Harden, Mittagong and Oran Park.

She has undertaken special training in skin cancer treatment and surgeries to become an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor and also completed her Diploma in Child Health in 2018 to supplement her interests in Paediatrics.

She obtained her Fellowship in General Practice in 2020 and is currently working towards a Fellowship in skin cancer.

Dr Ron Campbell

B.Med (Hons) Newcastle University FRACGP, B.Pharm Sydney University, B.Sc Sydney University, Graduate Certificate in Medical Acupuncture Monash University, Advanced Diploma of Western Herbal Medicine Australian Institute of Applied Sciences, BHlthSc (Complementary Medicine) Charles Sturt University

Dr Campbell has grown up and worked in the Macarthur & Wollondilly Shires as a community pharmacist from 1985 to 1997 and then as a General Practitioner from 1997. He has been servicing 2 local nursing homes in the Wollondilly area for over 15 years and been involved as team doctor for sporting teams over the years. He has an interest in alternative therapies, such as acupuncture and herbal medicine which he uses to treat a variety of conditions if appropriate. He has recently completed a Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine) and has an interest in sports related injuries and nutrition.

Dr Wei Yan

MBBS

Dr Yan completed her medical degree in China and has lived and worked in Australia since 2017.
She finished her medical and surgical training at St Vincent’s Hospital and Concord Hospital.

She will be joining The Clinic Tahmoor in August as a Registrar to commence the second term of her General Practice Training towards Fellowship with Royal Australian College of Practitioners.

She is currently undertaking skills development in child health and in the process of completing a Diploma in Child Health at the Children’s Hospital in Westmead.

Dr Yan’s special areas of interest are:

-Paediatrics

-Geriatric and palliative care

-Women’s health

Dr Andrina Ng

MBBS

Dr Andrina Ng joins Dr Ron Campbell, Dr Syed Kazmi and Dr Wei Yan at The Clinic and will be available for appointments 4 days a week (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri).

Dr Andrina graduated from Australian National University in 2016. She has extensive post graduate training in various hospitals across ACT and NSW.

-Paediatrics
-Women’s health
-Sexual health
-Chronic disease management

Joanne Lindsell

Registered Nurse, Diabetes Educator, Well Women’s Screening Nurse

Our Practice Nurse Joanne has many years’ experience in general practice and assists our GP’s in providing clinical care. She is a Registered Nurse, has a Bachelor of Nursing and a Graduate Certificate of Diabetes Education. She also provides Women’s Health Screening which includes pap smears.

Bree-Anne Kaiser

Registered Nurse

Our Practice Nurse Bree completed her Bachelor of Nursing in 2019.

Her Special interests include:
-Wound Care
-Chronic disease management
-Preventative health screening

Dr Ron Campbell has been our family dr for many years moving some 2.5hrs away from our home town and him we still go back to him as I will never find another dr with his education and care I have hesitated to use our local hospital in times of emergency as the drs don’t have half the knowledge or expertise as him I will never use anyone else, doctors like him are hard to come by these days.

Just been told by a junior dr ME saying I'll neverwalk into a NSW Emergency again because there service to the sick is appalling .She says that's good because you've had this problem for months .My bad thought. Hospitals were the place to go to when in chronic pain. Sorry I ever.went there.
