Physiotherapist

Anish Raj MPhty

Anish has recently joined the team at The Clinic Tahmoor. He has completed a Masters of Physiotherapy and is currently working in the community setting as well as our practice. Anish specialises in Advanced Manual Therapy Techniques, Physiotherapeutic assessment and management of Musculoskeletal disorders and Orthopaedic conditions. Anish has also published research papers on various aspects of physiotherapy. Anish has worked overseas as an assistant professor of physiotherapy and rehabilitation for many years, teaching post and under-graduates. We are extremely privileged to have Anish working for the best health of our patients.

No gap fee for government Medicare care plans for patients over 65 (which our GP can provide if eligible) and very competitive rates for private patients.
Anish provides physiotherapy services in the areas of all musculo-skeletal problems including spinal pain and injuries (neck and back), Sports injuries, Joint pain including arthritis pain, Orthopaedic injuries including fracture management, Neurological disorders and Cardiothoracic conditions, Child and adolescent musculoskeletal conditions.

Anish consults at The Clinic Tahmoor on every Wednesday from 2 pm to 5:30pm.

Carla is a University of Sydney Graduate with many years of experience working with Adults (20yrs+) providing therapies subject to their individual needs.

NO GAP Bulk Billing available for patients with a GP Mental Health Care Plan.

Family Medicine

All doctors provide general family medical care.

General Practice

Our practice is a family friendly general practice located in the heart of Tahmoor. The practice is fully accredited and is actively involved in teaching medical students and training GP registrars.

Psychologist

Psychologists are able to treat a number of different issue. We treat adults, children, teenagers, couples and families. We help parents to manage troubled children. We help people deal with stress and depression or anxiety.

Speech Pathology

For infants and children with a range of communication and feeding issues from very mild issues (eg. lisp) to more complex disorders/conditions such as autism, cerebral palsy, tongue tie & cleft palate.

Hypnotherapist

We can assist you with quitting smoking and other addictions, weight control, stress & anxiety, phobias, depression and self esteem.

Diabetes Education

The practice has a registered nurse on duty who is a diabetes educator, and who supervises a diabetes support group for patients of the practice which is held monthly.

Immunisation & Vaccinations

Our Medical Practice provides various immunisations and vaccinations for children, adults and the elderly. We also provide Travel vaccinations and advice.

Men’s Health

Our male health services cover a wide range of male specific health issues across all age groups.

Skin Checks and Minor Surgery

Our practice performs a number of minor surgical procedures on the premise, including skin cancer surgery.

Pathology

Along with our GP services, we also have a pathology collection service available and there is a pharmacy located nearby at The Tahmoor Town Centre should you need to collect any prescriptions.

Physiotherapy

Our physiotherapists are trained in the diagnosis, assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal and sports injuries as well as chronic pain using a variety of techniques such as soft tissue therapy, joint mobilisation and specialised exercise programs.

Podiatry

We provide podiatry services for both children and adults. Our services include Ingrown Toenail removal, Orthodics, Corns, Callous & Bunions as well as assistance with Heel Pain and chronic conditions.

Practice Nurse

The practice also has a registered nurse on duty who is a diabetes educator. She is also well trained in wound care, both acute and chronic, and carry out women’s health checks and PAP smears.

Pregnancy Care

We offer you the option of Antenatal Shared Care with our doctors so expectant mothers share some of their pregnancy care with their GP and some visits at the hospital’s antenatal clinic.

Sports Medicine

Our sports doctors have a special interest in sports medicine and injuries, and are experienced in medical conditions affecting people and families of all ages. We are able to consult on short-term acute illnesses, as well as chronic & long-term conditions.

Travel Medicine

Our team of doctors and nurses can advise you and your family of the medical requirements for your travel destination and ensure that you are aware of any potential medical risks in or around that location. We are an accredited immunisation centre for Yellow Fever vaccination.

Women’s Health

Our doctors are trained in the management of various women’s health conditions, antenatal and post natal care and contraception. Our doctors are also certified for Implanon and IUD (Mirena & Copper) insertion.

Workcover Rehabilitation

Our doctors have experience with WorkCover and occupational health issues. If you or your employee gets injured at work our doctors can assess, treat and provide WorkCover NSW Certificates of Capacity.

After Hours Service

The practice also provides an after hours service which is also bulk billed and the contact details for this can be obtained by calling the practice phone number after hours and listening to the recorded message.

Dr Ron Campbell has been our family dr for many years moving some 2.5hrs away from our home town and him we still go back to him as I will never find another dr with his education and care I have hesitated to use our local hospital in times of emergency as the drs don’t have half the knowledge or expertise as him I will never use anyone else, doctors like him are hard to come by these days.
